I have not shorted a stock through Greenline for a long time so do not remember but my full service broker in Van will not let me use money from a short - and I have to keep 50% more in cash to cover the short. If it goes up - I need to cash up to keep up the "margin" on it They do not want to risk losing on a short - they actually do not like them
