Judith, The show started yesterday. If you get a chance to go, please let us know your impressions. Also you may want to talk to the people from pulver.com who are hosting 2 days of Internet Telephony seminars. Their site has a lot of good info and it seems that they will have some bigwigs at their seminars.

Judith, a friend of mine is a manufacturers rep of computer equipment and is at the show. He is also an investor in FTEL. He called to tell me that he stopped by their booth and stated that it was crowded with many people wearing exibitor badges. Competition, I would think. But also as he stated many times other companies attempt to establish relationships early on with potentially hot companies by bringing their clients by the booth.

He did speak to someone from Franklin and they implied to him that they had already had several end users at the booth. Seems Franklin has a new sales rep from NYC who I assume is bringing these prospects into the booth. I believe his name is Sid something.

You now know what I know.

BTW, I used to be in sales for all of my adult career and before a big national show I would usually have my major accounts scheduled and worked before the doors ever opened.

Industries may be different, but the game is still played the same way, that I assure you.

PS: An NBC affiliate in Cleveland just aired a preview of the 11:00 o'clock news, the topic that was promoted was Internet Telephony. Other NBC affiliates may also be picking up the NYC show, I'm sure that is what it is going to be about.
