It has been a while. You don't go through the door. You have to climb in through the window in the back. But that won't do any good until you've opened the mailbox, which contains the ... well, anyway. It was a really cool game.

And, you had to wear the garlic clove to protect yourself from the vampire bat when you were in the cave.

Eliza? Don't remember that one. But 'Adventure' was available in the early Unix (Ugh!) days, and then converted to run on the IBM PC.

Why, that reminds me of the time ...

I would have used a "fully automated" scale which would have done 95% of the steps in your solution, but requiring a programmer to manually weigh one ball in each hand to see which was heavier or lighter!
