Michael, the only thing that I don't like about ORCL is that Larry Elleson is intent on beating MSFT.

Companies that had the same goal ended up losing focus and their marketshare. Look at what happen to novell.

ORCL's latest move is network computers, no need for an operating system. However, I read an article the other day that basically said the network computers will never replace desktops, not for the time being. The reason? Everybody was so focused on the machine and they forgot about the network. In order for the concept to flourish, the network must be able to handle large traffic and right now the systems are not quite that advanced yet.

So unless there is a massive move towards investment in hardware, the network computer is limited.

Just my opinion.
