A forbes story from late September.

1. Get off crack: Let interest rates rise gradually, and cut deficit spending by reducing programs that don’t create competitive advantage for the U.S. Artificially low interest rates are a short term fix to a long term problem, and pose a risk of inflation and misallocation of investments in real estate, high-yield corporate bonds, and gold. Deficit spending, as we see with the annual fight on the debt ceiling, cannot continue. It’s time to go cold turkey on unsustainable fiscal policy.

Geepers, what's this guy on? Don't they do drugs testing at Forbes these days?? -g-
