Shirley ; The amount of cash used is important, as it affects Barricks line of credit and rate and duration of any repayment schedule. So there is a paper cost of the number of shares printed to trade for Arequipa stock, and the dollar cost of the dollars paid the Arequipa SH to buy their fractions.The cash cost is affected only by the $$ transacted, even though their is a dilution cost(which gets submerged and forgotten if B does well). The total value is the amount you say, and I am sure the accountants have a word to define it. Bill
