If you have fill trouble in OTC issues, check and see if NFSC makes a market in the issue. NFSC is owned by Fidelity, and when they get a customer's order you should expect to have slippage against you. Profits from the NFSC trading floor must be how they are paying for cut commissions. In those cases you get NO autoexecution...while orders that go to wholesalers (mainly Sherwood, also Herzog, Knight, Maddoff) are autoexecuted. I absolutely will not use fidelity ever again while NFSC is allowed to handle customer's OTC orders. FIdlelity is clearly not concerned with quality of customer's execution if they allow customer's orders to be poorly filled, not by an outside firm that pays them for the flow, but by their OWN trading arm.
