I guess I don't really know what a "transit worker" does, and I know it is expensive to live in CA. But I really cannot imagine those jobs warrant anywhere near that kind of salary (presumably, there are benefits on top of it).

It has been a while since I've been to the Bay Area, but I don't remember spending an inordinate amount of money for anything there. I guess it is mostly about housing and taxes...

It is expensive........SF and Vancouver are the two most expensive cities on the West coast.............and the West coast is the most expensive region of N. America in which to live.

Why should you make your 6 figure income while transit workers are not allowed to make a living wage? And yes, that's a living wage in the Bay area. Are you that much of an elitist?
