patrick..idc just misclassified some of cpq's sales...
they calssified allot of pcs that went to business to another sector...IDC admitted already that this was the reason for the error in their release.I can find it if you need it.
dell's numbers were not changed.

but, this still doesn't change dell's numbers and great position

CPQ is a 50b company, market cap. DELL is a 31b company. They have virtually the same 'top line'. Maybe that explains difference in perception of performance. Maybe.
