Z, Essentially 3-5% annual raises? Why on earth is that liberal? $70K a year? Why is that excessive? We're talking about guaranteed raises. 3% would be OK with me. 5% is rather generous. 7% is nuts. What kind of education do you need to be a transit worker? I know people with Master's and Law degrees working for less. Also, $75K/year is the starting salary of an airline pilot.
