This is the old "politics of envy" that the Right has used against the middle class for decades. Someone is getting a better deal than you? Don't think about how you might get it, just demand that something be done so they are no longer so lucky...

The most recent example I can think of was those lunch ladies who negotiated in their contract to be able to take home cooked but unused food. Apparently it was better to throw that food out than let those highly paid lunch ladies take it...

And how about those lucky ducks who don't make enough money to pay income taxes? Who wouldn't want to be like them?

But don't even consider doing something to address those who get legislation passed and rules written so they can make millions and even billions without actually producing something, just moving money around.

Z,
Now that (with government help), they've reduced private sector unions to almost nothing, it's time to go after the last place they're strong.
OK, now you're going into la-la land. "It's a conspiracy," according to you.

Still no answer to why BART salaries need to go up. Your answer, which is "they should be allowed to negotiate for it," is stupid and doesn't address the issue.

Of course the BART unions are going to demand as much as they can get. Of course it's their right to. The question is not whether they should be allowed to demand that much, but whether management should give in to their demands.

That's the question that you refuse to answer or even acknowledge.
