I think I will watch BBTK today and set a reasonable trailing stop tomorrow when I see where today's action is headed. With ZITL whipsawing again and CDRD and SHEL being stubborn, I'm tempted to milk BBTK for all it's worth.

But I'll try not to get too greedy. Thanks for the input.

Have you seen any data on shorting companies who announce missed earnings. There is usually the huge one day drop (aka ORCL down 30%). However, in some of the stocks I watch, I've seen them drift much lower over the next few weeks/months. For example, WDC dropped from the mid 40's to the low 30's on its first earnings shortfall. Since then there has been another miss and drop to 16. OXHP got smashed to the high twenties and has continued down to 16 as well.

Granted this is a small sample space in a violatile market. And, the reasons for the miss may be quite different, industry in WDC and management in OXHP. My question is this a good initial screen and are there additional factors to look for.
