Yes, I gotta get out. Problem is, Alfred E, Newman is everywhere. He's burning a lot of juice with his continuing charade, and the bad karma from all the lying and deceit will break his body. He might then go crazy and pull a "scorched earth" on the US.

As for bitcoin, it's axiomatic that it can't be destroyed. The entire Net would have to be destroyed to do that. I hear the "Feds" could shut it down. Nope, if only because when you send a message across the Net the algorithms choose the minimal cost path by rapid random searching. Usually, this means your average message goes all over the world's server farms looking for the optimal path. A bitcoin transfer leaves its path trace in that storage. Thus, bitcoin is deeply embedded in the storage structure of those worldwide farms. Government can only influence entry and exit. After all, one does want to finally "cash" out on bitcoin although already one can purchase goods directly in virtual currency.
