<Article I read via the MACR thread with an opinion that mentioned MACR being a good acquisition for Quark. This would scare me...>

Adobe has nothing to worry about in terms of a Quark expansion. Quark is a one-product company with very poor management. It also remains privately owned by the founders, and I doubt they would try to take over MACR.

Hi Tom, Re: Quark.

I have watched Quark since the first Macintosh was shipped. The fellow that started this company developed a product and has a following. He has never gone public, just keeps his customers happy and seems to be happy with his income and life style. It is my opinion he will continue doing that and not take on any new products to grow his business like MACR. This Quark owner is a very smart business person and is focused.

Just some of my thoughts.

Joan
