Every politician is ambitious, they would not be politicians if they weren't. So this kind of article which supposes there is something evil about ambitions, or doing something for political reasons or some such nonsensical complaint is meaningless. My complaint about modern politicians is simply that they no longer do things to accomplish productive solutions. They position themselves for future opportunities or just to keep from losing their jobs. There are very few exceptions I can think of outside the rare exceptions like Ted Cruz, who of course is ambitious and does things for political reasons. I predict recalls are going to become a common practice in the near future because of this.
