A lot of companies don't have insurance, they are self-insured on their vehicle fleet.

Just having this discussion with Tidey.......on local school taxes based on property value which he has confirmed ..

The point being that you pay local school taxes whether you have 10 kids in school or none....... There is no option, those with no kids or few kids pay for those with a lot of kids...

Re: Auto insurance......although required in most states, many people don't buy the insurance and are generally those with little means, ie teens, therefore a law suit won't be worthwhile. Result, you buy insurance for uninsured motorists; some states have "no fault" laws.....ie your insurance company pays for your damage even if you did not cause the accident.
