When I say Y2K stimulus, I'm talking about applications sales. Even the company acknowledged on the conference call last night that apps business will slow in the 2nd half of next year. If companies want to replace their systems, they better be well on their way to making a decision. Once the decision is made, oracle recognizes the revenue, not once deployments are made.

If a company elects to repair its non-y2k compliant systems, the process may continue for some time, but oracle will generate no revenue from repair of legacy systems.
