Here's my uninformed take on what's happening . . .

Volume is too low today for short covering, I think. This stock is not going to wander absentedmindedly into territory above $12 a share, not with the selling fence put up by the shorts. It will only move on institutional buying. Right now, the institutions can rely on the shorts to keep the buying price below $12; why else does volume dry up as we approach $12? So it's kind of a Catch-22 for the moment. On the other hand, we're seeing good buying pressure between 10 and 12, which is why the stock is building a nice base, and why the shorts' strategy has to come to an end. We'll push up well on good news.

>>Short covering would make the stock run....IMO IDX will trickle lower on low volume days. The shorts are the reason we can't break 12. The specialist can also dump his inventory on these bursts in
the stock price. When the buying interest slows, he lowers the bid and collects more stock and dumps it into the next rally. That is why he probably dirves a Benz and I drive a Grand Cherokee...lol

I still feel that 15 by March or April is a lay-up.<<

Rob,

So far so good on your scenario and analysis.

If it all happens the way you say it will, the thread should, imho, fall to its knees and toward your general direction repeat (in unison, loudly and enthusiastically) until fatigued, "We are not worthy," etc etc!

After which cigars and tequilla are in order but not necessarily in that order!

Remarkable how some stocks behave.
