He did say that for Apple to attract a quality CEO Jobs AND Ellison would have to step aside. Was that him broadcasting to Apple the terms of him coming to work there??

A friend of mind said that he heard on some business news program today that Lee Iacoca was being considered for the job. What a fit that would be...<g>

This could mean that if he does become the CEO of Apple, the first thing he would do is a Dr. Kervorkian on the Apple hardware business (sell it off, write it off, fire engineers, etc.) and become a pure software house. Of course, I conjecture condition #1 for him to become CEO is for Steve Jobs, friends et. al (such as Larry Ellison) to take a hike.
