TCI on internet telephony plans:

"...Hindery also said TCI expects eventually to venture into Internet telephone service with the help of a partner.

"I do not expect to exploit Internet telephony alone," he said.

Smiling, Hindery declined to say if the company is in talks with AT&T Corp. (T), which may be poised to expand its involvement with cable. He hastened to add, however, that the company is happy with its data partnership with At Home Corp. (ATHM)..."
