Human Singularity meet Toolmaker Koan (it's a book, not referring to Koan of SI fame) I'm not sure what it means that "human life can be sustained". Sustained meaning that all of our needs are taken care of by computers and robots/automation that produces the stuff we consume so that we no longer need to work to survive? Or is it talking about extending individual human (or hybrid human/machines or machines with human intelligence) life through artificial means such as nanobots?
