I find this one to be incredibly disturbing. Anybody who has worked hard to create or produce anything should be horrified by the "you did not build that" comment. The fact that it received so little attention is an indication that our population doesn't feel any ownership for their work. It could also mean that the reason people don't feel any ownership for their work is because they know that either their work is producing things or services that don't have value (can you say "the vast amount of government workers") or they are seriously overpaid for what they do produce (union workers, eh?)

Maybe the ownership is shunned because it also implies responsibility. And we know how much liberals love to avoid responsibility and accountability.
