Hello, Sparky65 and all. I got in touch with someone at MetaByte to find out how WARP is doing. I was told that the introduction of the board will be delayed until late January of next year. However, the response to the board is tremendous on Comdex and since their announcement. The delay is mainly cuased by MetaByte's efforts to fully test the board for compatibility and developing the necessary drivers for the board.

I think we will see some significant revenues from WARP next year. Hopefully, Oak can come up a new version of WARP that has a setup enging and AGP quickly.

Regards,
Baoho

Sparky, if I understand properly, I guess OAKT is trying to maintain their CD-ROM business as long as possible and as much as the market still needs CD-ROM. Even with DVD, the CD-ROM will not go away immediately. We also should remenber they are doing this at the same time they are pursuing other new business. I am happy to hear what the management has said so far, including the part about sueing people to protect their CD-ROM business.

The key for the stock, however, is highly depending on how successful they will be able to get new business. Let's keep the best hope, at least until Jan (earning and Jan effects).

Good luck to all.
