Where do you get the 'of course' from? Where does the authority to prioritize come from? And who sets the priorities? And from where do you deduce that mechanisms are in place to do it? I am thinking you are just making it up because you want it to be true. This little stunt is costing the Republicans. If they pull it again, their future as a regional party will be here sooner than expected. If a default, along with a global depression occurs, expect the tumbrels to roll. It also would spell the end of free enterprise coming so closely on the heels of the Great Economic Bellyflop of the Bush Administration.
