I would say that he should soon act in the interest of national security. As C-in-C, he cannot allow any individual or group to jeopardize this nation. The framers of the Constitution assumed that we would all be lovers of freedom and that we would do anything and everything to protect the Constitution instead of taking undue advantage for personal gains, political, monetary or otherwise.

I still think Obama could raise the debt ceiling by executive action and let the courts sort it out.

What I am not sure about is if that is the best strategy. The deals the dems are working out are pretty complicated.
