I suppose where we differ is in the term "illogical". To me a better term would be "variability". Yes, the system would need to provide variability based on each accounts unique circumstances, income, age, type of plan etc. But a well written Functional Design Document could cover those GUI requirements. That's what great software enterprise information engineering development teams do. I guess all I'm saying is if you're going to spend 630 million dollars on a website, hire the best of the best people.
