Mary,
I have a feeling Kurlack reads this thread. May be he issued the second downgrade just to spite us for ridiculing him a couple months ago when he issued his first downgrade <ggg>

Regards
Clayton

I want to shoot that ML a%%$$$$ who recommended this stock ( ORCL )at 32 back in Oct and Nov and said "this stock is on target for its next quarter and is poised to go up".

Wonder how many people bought into his recommendation. This probably will be the last time I would look for an analyst recommendation to buy a stock.

Prakash

ORCL down 30 % today

Mary Re "If TK gets a hold of this, we are looking for another round of jittery words. "

I'm going to propose something that I'm sure a lot will disagree with.

TK has called Intel's market situation very well in the recent past -
my main hope is that he has reduced expectations enough so that
we don't get killed like Oracle.

Much as we hate him - he has been right.

OTOH we are all agreed that Intels PR leaves a lot to be desired
IMHO.

I think the company should hire him ASAP.

From my very limited knowledge - I think that the health of the tech sector in the stock exchange affects the company's bottom line -
since tech enthusiasts are most likely to go for the very best and latest.

What do you think - the foolish ramblings of a novice or what?
