We have 2 older therm a rest - same size. Has a screwable air opening on both sides of one end.
Very comfortable and both fit nicely in our Coleman 9x10 instant tent.

One fits in the back of the Sienna with the rear seats folded into the floor and the 2nd row folded and pushed all the way forward. Great for road naps. Just finished putting one in with a couple of sleeping bags, since we will be traveling for a few days beginning early tomorrow.

Would not consider the air mattresses or that tent to be man-pack gear…much too bulky.

I've only used "Thermarest" mattress's, but the reviews on the one you posted are pretty positive, and the price is right. These mattress's still let you know you're on the ground, but they significantly cushion the impact.
