Reminds me of a friend who was into dog training and his shock collar seemed broken. His young son and friends were in the yard so he gave the control to his son and went off a ways and while gingerly holding the collar signaled his son to push the button. Nothing. He wraps the broken collar around is upper arm and starts carring some wood back to the house. Son tries the botton again and it works. Friend reached to undo the buckle on the collar and it worked again. Every time he reached for the collar his son juiced him. After a few minutes the kids tired of the game.
