The Republicans are in deep shit. They let the rowdies in the House along with their leader in the Senate, the Cruz missiles guy play it out and now that have brought the party to the brink, they are being shoved aside and folks like Mitch McConnell, McCain etc. are stepping in along with Reid, Biden etc. I won't be surprised if the Cruz guy is shunted out by fellow Republican Senators and his buddy will then find him a place in the Heritage Foundation. Just strip that bastard off from all his Senate sub committee memberships is what I suspect they will do. If Mitch can pull it off, then he will have guaranteed his party's nomination for his re election.
