This bad teacher stuff is a right wing ruse. I don't know a single person who failed or failed to learn because of bad teachers. The right wing doesn't want to pay for lots of schools. It takes high taxes. So they shift the blame to bad teachers. Get better teachers they say and convince people that is the problem, and they can pay less. Most teachers are fine. And the few who aren't don't much matter. I have a pretty well educated extended family and we all got our education through public schools. The rich do not want to pay for the poor. That simple. But it is in the best interest of society that we educate people. You build and staff a ton of pre schools and community colleges and they will come. And they will learn and our society will get stronger and better.
