History shows that it takes a major downturn and/or a Charismatic leader to make a major change in a Democracy. I doubt if we can do it.

When I was in business, I wanted everybody to be knocking at my door to sell me the products and services I needed. But when I went out to sell, I wanted to be the only one selling the product.

Everybody thinks like this.

Romney was right.

Of course what he said was right. Did anyone debate the rightness of what he said?

No. The leftists treated as if they'd "caught" him saying something shameful and he just let it drop, because his Big Party advisors told him that was smart, thus confirming in peoples' minds that the left was correct.

Happens on every important issue. If we bring up an issue the left can't refute, they simply label it shameful and that's the end of it. Next Leftist driven issue please.
