Moving forward just means that any change proposed is obviously a good one or it would not be characterized as moving forward. The masses are not supposed to think...just cheer about moving forward...and deeper into slavery.

Free men can move in an infinite set of directions. Communists reduce this to a one dimension number line - forward (anything they want to do) and backward (any other conceivable direction).

We are trained to reduce our thinking to number lines. Best example - he's a left winger, she's a righty.

Even something as ineffable as intelligence is reduced to a number line centered at 100.

Forward means giving up the ability to move or think independently.
