He requested Tejek be the monitor if there need be one. You are beating a dead horse. There will be no vote BTW I went to SI Ron to discuss protocol , if there was one, in having an abandoned thread moderated. You went to bitch and defame me by saying you didn't trust me. Implying I was up to no good, when you were in fact one of the first people I PM'd asking if you were interested. .

I believe bentway want to keep it an open thread with no moderator.Am I wrong that you wanted to make it a moderated thread? What bentway wants is not important. If you look at all of the people who have hurt feelings because of things said on this thread, it is clear that it needs more structure. The majority will benefit from a thread that is more civil and kind. There is a democratic process already in place to make the change. I will be running for thread moderator. I will also be posting a set of thread rules for everyone to vote on. If you would like input on the rules, please send me a PM with your suggestion and I will do my best to incorporate them before the vote later tonight.
