Wharf, as I have already said, clearly Rand has some maturing to do before he is ready for any Presidential race. But he is smart and he is young and his ideology lines up with what the poll suggested was the 51% majority center. If I was Rand I would gather my staff and ask how it was we missed this one. I think it is likely that it is because he is from Kentucky. He hears from his constituents and they likely cheered his position vehemently. Then I would ask myself and my staff......."do I want to be president".
