Now I understand the seperation of ULBI and VLNC market activity in the last few weeks.

biz.yahoo.com

Maybe ULBI can't produce as much product as VLNC will be able to but at least they know how to market what they can make.

PS: The lack of news or annoucments from VLNC management is very disturbing. I hope I'm not on the wrong horse. Still long Dave.

Hi hcirteg!

Well "sounds like i'm short" can be wrong the wrong impression. Why should i complain about the stocks behaviour when i'm short. I should laugh about all this and count my money! But I'm long on the stock and that for quiet some time already. In the past i had to make some unpleasant experiences with the uselessness of sell stops on this stock and got stopped out in one of these wild swings in the past. But that's a lot of month ago. And guess what: i bought back the shares! because i like the prospects. So i'm not short on the stock but of course it would've been a good idea to short the stock at 9. But nobody really suspected we see 5 1/2 again. What is there to cheer about VLNC lately? I mean something i can really verify! Cal REED leaves and for quiet some time
he was always presented as the clever guy who will make things happen. Well maybe he will or better "has done it already". I can't verify that since i don't know all these insiders. What i can verify though is that the stock behaved horribly from a technical standpoint ( you know the thing with the 200 MA etc) and that doesn't make me feel great. Sorry to disappoint you about reasons for shorting although it might be a good idea to short some shares as downside protection. If the production really get's rolling the increase in price will clearly offset the lost money in shorting. I have no knowledge in options but i guess you could protect yourself through options too...

(hoping everything positive said here is correct and that the stock will SPIKE to 35)
