Hi Steve -

Cloud computing - trying to find the Value play

I thought the "cloud" REITs would be the value play but am reconsidering that premise. Maybe the real play is Google. I am still going to have a small position in the "cloud" REIT space but there may be better plays. VEEV was a new "medical cloud" IPO that went public this week. It popped on the open way out of my value price range.

You are pretty good at finding the diamond in the rough in a sector play. Maybe you can enlighten me as to where I can find the future Value "Cloud" play?

On the #50gains IRC chat board, we get some ideas (mainly from new IPOs) but I think Paul Senior has the right play, buy Google. I use many Google features, sync my phones w/ Google contacts, use the Google calendar to monitor my wash sales, stream Google music during the day and have cut the cable cord and use Google TV (aka Google YouTube and Netflix).

I have learned to never chase a trade and/or continue w/ an investment that is not performing. My DLR proceeds will do better in vested in my NG theme. I will stay w/ QST for now and maybe start a small position in Google in the future.
