There's some serious poundage to be lost off the defense budget, like at least half of it! That would cause a recession, so it will have to be a long-term diet goal.

I think a good baseline would be what Russia, China and AQ together spend. Let's match THAT!

Let's see, that would be $166.1 + 90.7 + 1 (we'll say AQ spends a billion, just for the hell of it) = $257.8 billion. $682 - 258 = $424 billion in savings, and we match what our three main geopolitical rivals spend COMBINED!

Oh hell............the US spends as much as the rest of the world on military spending but that's okay with you hypocrites. But spend one dollar trying to feed Americans and its a serious crime.
