Kind of makes you value each day you have . Do not accept any offers from ICBC until you are sure you do not have any long term issues . They are busterds and will delay for years if you have a valid claim or get you to sign off if it is to their benefit . Take care ralfpherssss you wanted a new car ,,,,, right ?

Dave, so sorry to hear that. Even if you're not badly hurt it is still a huge psychological trauma. As someone who had his life torn apart by an accident where the other driver was 100% at fault, let me give you some advice. DO NOT accept ICBC's offer. It took a few years but I eventually got more than 30 times what they first offered me. It is VITAL that both of you keep detailed daily journals about your physical and mental state. By the time iot gets to a trial or tribunal will be a few years and you won't be able to remember the details you need to defeat their lawyers if you don't. Take it easy for a while, and accept you may never enjoy driving again. I drive as little as I can these days. LC
