If I was the HEW under secretary in charge of having the Federal exchange up and running it would be up and running right now without significant problems and here is why: Ring ring Hey, Dick, how's it going with you over at IBM--working on your second billion for this year are you? Hey, Tom,- we've missed you since you retired from the reserves--you always kept us on our toes and the jokes kept us awake too. Well, Dick, I've taken my act over to HEW and am tap dancing for K.S now and I in fact have something for you that might help you with the 3rd billion. Tom, you sob, always glad to listen to your BS. What is it? Well, Dick, we've got this little item here---we need a website set up for the Federal Health exchange. Probably a budget item of a couple hundred million or so. It's not yet been finalized, but it looks like it's going to be in that range. I know that's chump change for you guys, but do you think your people would like to take a look at it? Tom, I can a team of people there next week to meet with your guys on the specs. We'll give it first class priority. I can probably give you a demo 8-10 weeks after we've collected the data Is that soon enough for you? Sounds good Dick. When can we meet? ETC., Etc. Bleeping problem solved.
