MSO hit a 52-week high today of $3.47, continuing a powerful rally since JCP returned the 11,000,001 MSO shares they (Ron Johnson) had bought. Besides in this release, J. C. Penney filed a Form 4 disclosing the Disposal.

In one shot the outstanding shares dropped from 67.52 million to 56.52 million. The market took days to react.

Yahoo and Capital IQ still have it as 67.52 m with 962,570 short.

MSO is up 44% in under 3 weeks.

The reduction in shares was worth a 19.4% increase; and there are monetary aspects to the settlement at the link above.
