Capital formation is getting clobbered due to the financial repression going on right now. Capital formation and allocation is the key to real jobs growth. The Fed has created a vicious downward spiral that will be hard to get out of.

Financial repression lasting a long time will result in stretched multiples for assets and thus higher costs downstream for the working poor and middle class without assets themselves. Bernanke can't get the inflation in incomes of most Americans after 5+ years of unprecedented money printing while their purchasing power goes south in a major way given rising costs of all things they need except techno gadgets. Only way out BB must be hoping for is more purchasing power via easy credit again for J6P so he too can borrow at low rates and participate in housing bubble 2.0 accelerating phony growth for a couple of years like 8-9 years ago

Too much welfare for those at the top and those at the bottom, record wealth disparity, bloated MIC jobs program and sea of green for plutocrats via no bid gov't contracts takes away a huge chunk from the real economy where we would see long lasting results and multipliers to local economies by investing here at home.

If we don't grow from the middle out by allowing that middle to empower themselves again and see light at the end of the tunnel we never will recapture the glory of the post WW 2 boom
