Inflating it out is a hidden way to do it. People notice a big crash. You really can't get most people worked up about the big debt because everything happens slowly this way. Being warmed up in a big pot is not as noticeable. How is it all going to work out?

It never has to paid. It only has to be serviced via interest payments. I like to ask my leftist friends how they think this will be done if interest rates ever return to normal. We are living in a land of fiscal make believe.
