DR. BOND,

Any positive rumor or half truths are welcome at this point. I'm sure it won't get into the Lancet Journals but then again it's reserved for the important issues, like Dr. Greco's research.

Pardon me, I'm sorta here by accident. I was cruising for some good covered call plays and VVUS captured my attention. I got in, and the stock promptly lost 2 points so the CCs will need to wait a bit. Since then I've read many of the recent posts (here and on the original) and there seems to be a story -- both pro and con. So I will be a long for awhile. Question: is there anticipation of news that this story will move on and when might that be? Hope VVUS is ready to (re)penetrate higher ground!!

(ps since I'm a newbie here and not married to this stock, I understand if ya'll ignore me. Good Luck!)

Dr. Bond <<BigKNY3 need not respond as these rumors are just that..RUMORS.>>

Hey, Doc. You know I could not resist placing some facts to Viagra rumors. The Viagra Phase III studies of over 4,500 patients have been completed and are currently being priority reviewed by the FDA. The summary of side effects has already been announced with a discontinuance rate of 2% equal to placebo. The major side effects were headaches and flushing.

Any ongoing Viagra studies are Phase IIIB studies that probably began in the Fall, 1997 and will be completed after the FDA approval. Accordingly, it is highly doubtful that these studies in such early stages are "not going as well as believed".
