you seem to have given up rather easily... it doesn't even go into effect until next year, so you have plenty of time... if you have current insurance you could call them and ask your options... let them do the work for you... the insurers want to sell you insurance... of course if you live in a red state like I do there are obstructionists out there who don't want this to work so take that into account
