The question is do you?

A cogent question. From many of the statements, I am being pushed to the conclusion that many on the Right don't understand how insurance is supposed to work.

until ACA you could be dropped anytime. What bullshit. Millions are being dropped BECAUSE of Obamanable Care. That's the reality.

>> You are grandfathered into nothing...your policy could easily be replaced or re-priced...

Of course, as could any policy, including ACA exchange policies.

>> and until ACA you could be dropped anytime...

And I could choose to drop my insurance at any time. But as a practical matter this simply DID NOT HAPPEN. The incidences of insurers dropping coverage for individuals were extremely rare (5,000 cases from 3 biggest insurance companies in a four year period) and were almost always a result of fraud

>> the good news for you now is that you can't be denied insurance...probably relevant if you are indeed concerned about being "grandfathered"...

But those who don't want it also have given up their freedom to make the choice. That isn't a good tradeoff to any rational person.
