Jim, Here's all insider trading activity on SGI from July to December 5, according to insidertrader.com: 144 filings >August/2 VP's/216,000 shares/avg price when registered 25 >September/2 VP's/70,000 shares/avg price when registered 27.75 Form 4 >July 29/VP/sold 156,000 shares/24.5 >August 4-29/3 VP's/sold 130,000 shares/27.375 That's all the activity, buys and sells. <Looks like SUN is continuing to expand its UNIX workstation business, even as SGI seems to be showing weakness in this market. I find this perplexing, since as far as I can see, SGI has better machines for roughly the same price. Is this just marketing failure?> Jim, <imho> More to do with marketing success at Sun than marketing failure at SGI. Sun has been in UNIX box expansion mode since day 1, originally against other UNIX box providers, now against the PC. Focus: Everyone at Sun knows their "Beat NT or Die" mission in life which also helps. My two cents. Mathon
