Looks pretty sweet to me, Dave. Especially when you compare it to the median US compensation of $ 26,965.43 (2011).

I have seen job openings for Rails people offering $100-$120 an hour on 6 to 12 month contracts.

I've told you what Microsoft is paying my grandson as a summer intern, ie 120K annualized plus perks ...if that's not highly compensated I don't know what is except hedge fund managers.... He just got an offer from Google also....
