Interesting... I suppose cost of electricity going forward will be interesting. With the movement back into inner cities among the young "green" types, I suppose an electric version of the "smart car" could be wildly popular... I sort of fail to see the big advantage of the Tesla other than a stepping stone for "early adopters" to pay up for and drive the technology forward like they did with cell phones and other techy things... but I'm not really up on all that. I live downtown and ride my bike everywhere AND hot chix think it's "cool"... so I'm not so sure the driver for electric is as powerful as the driver for other technologies... but time will tell. If Tesla is for real... then I'm wrong... since an affordable electric that can go hundreds of miles WILL get adopted in cities if for no other reason as they will get regulated in for pollution reasons. JMO of course.
