Not sure what you don't think is true. Any plan (including exchange plans) can be cancelled. Grandfathered plans are simply those which were in existence before the legislation and don't have to comply with certain requirements of it.

The price of the plan I'm in has doubled over the last ten years or so that I've been in it. I don't think that is bad. I think it is likely we'll see exchange prices double within a couple years, particularly in AR.
